It was sooo nice to have conversations with an adult all week instead of just talking about lalaloopsies and hot dogs with my 3 year old. And she also kept the kids busy and would watch them so I could sneak out and run errands by myself (aaahhh). I think that one week is way to short, it went to fast. But we had lots of fun. We went on the "Walking Tour of Winnemucca" (in the car) which I didn't even know we had,<br />
had tin foil dinners up Water Canyon, <br />

We tried to convince her to just miss her flight and stay another week, but that didn't work. She went home yesterday and Olivia is already bored this morning. But now that it's nice weather hopefully we will get our garden started and be at the park a lot more.<br />

Mason loves yogurt and he is in this the stage where he wants to do things on his own, like eating yogurt with a spoon or holding his Gogurt by himself...but it just makes such a HUGE mess! So this morning I thought "I have that leaky Take-n-Toss sippy, why not just cut the top off and then he can "drink" his yogurt". So I chopped off the part of the sippy that restricted the water flow, but left enough of the mouth part so he could suck his yogurt down. I added a little splash of milk because I used Gogurt and thats a little thicker than other yogurt. It worked GREAT!!! Less mess than if I were to feed him because he grabs the spoon and then gets yogurt everywhere. Why did I not think of this before with Olivia? <br />

All 4 of us have had birthdays! Mason on Oct 3rd, Brooke Oct 6, Andrew Dec 5, and Olivia Dec 29th. We are having her Jungle Birthday Party tomorrow morning. <br />

In October Andrew and I ran the 5k Tiger Dash out at the Safe Haven rescue zoo. Wow that was the hardest 3 miles I have ever run! You ran 1.5 miles straight up the canyon and then ran back down. Then we got a tour of the rescue zoo and saw all of the tigers, lions, and other animals. We won a night tour, so that will be fun when we decide to use it. <br />

For Halloween Olivia was a purple dinosaur and Mason was a caveman. Olivia really liked the idea of going to all the houses and getting candy, but she also learned that diareah is no fun, she kept telling people that she needed to go potty haha. <br />

<br />
We went into Utah for Thanksgiving and had a fun time seeing family, including Adam and Teresa and some of their kids.<br />
<br />
On Dec 14th Mason had eye muscle surgery to straighten out his eyes. Now he doesn't go cross-eyed, or have one eye turn in. It took me about a week to not look at him and think, who is that kid? It was amazing how different it made him look. I'm still not totally used to it, I liked his crazy eyes : ) <br />
<br />
This was my first Christmas away from home. We decided to stay in Winnemucca this year and go into Utah for New Years. I was a little worried that it would be a lame Christmas without alot of family around, but we had a ton of fun! The night before we made cookies for Santa and put them by the tree. Olivia spread her Reindeer food she made at preschool all over our driveway and Andrew put out the luminaries. Then we went for a drive to look at Christmas lights and so the kids would fall asleep : ) Christmas morning the kids woke up and Olivia was sooo excited! She loved opening the presents and "helping" Mason open some of his presents. They had a bunch of presents, mostly given to them by other family members. But the favorite toy of theirs was this cruddy old Fisher Price school bus that was $1.50 at the thrift store that Olivia had asked if she could get when Andrew and I were spending $10 on each other so we could have something to open. I wrapped up the bus just so it would be one more thing to open on Christmas and that has been the toy they have played with the most. Just goes to show you don't have to spend a fortune at Christmas. After opening presents and skyping with family we drove out to Paradise Valley and started to head up to Hinkey Summit to find a place to go sledding with our new sled. We found a spot after getting stuck in our <em>fabulous</em> snow vehical...the van. The kids had a blast out sledding. I think Mason liked it more than Olivia. We would get to the top of the hill and he would get mad if you didn't instantly place him on top of the sled. Then he would yell if he had to wait for Olivia to get up the hill to ride with him. When we left Winnemucca there was barely any snow, mostly just little patches here and there. After we got back from sledding it was dumping down snow! The next day I measured and we had 9 inches of snow and it is still here and I don't think it is leaving anytime soon. This is the most snow I have seen in Winnemucca, and usually when we get snow it melts the same day...but not this time. It has been awesome! <br />

<br />
We went into Utah for New Years. On New Years Eve Andrew and I were able to go to Snowbird for a full day. I rode my snowboard for the first time since I think before I was pregnant with Olivia. I have skied a couple of time for free ski, but it felt fabulous to be back on my board! Andrew was on his skis and Dani and Russel went with us. It was so much fun! And my body was definetly feeling the full day when we got home haha! We had a family party at my parents house. Olivia made it until 12, but I don't think she really understood what was going on. <br />
<br />
Mason is now a walker. He took his first step 10/28/12. He has started talking a little bit too. His first word was a while ago, he would yell "MAH!" for more when he was sitting in his high chair and wanted more food. His word he uses alot is "Herego". If he is giving you something he will say here go, or if you have something he wants he will just say herego herego herego until you give him what he wants. He also says go. If we are going to go somewhere he says go. Or if Olivia is bugging him he will push her away and angerly say "GO!" He plays peek-a-boo all the time and is a dancing fool anytime there is music on. His absolute favorite song is "Sail" by Awolnation. Not a kid song at all but anytime he is mad and screaming, you turn that song on and he instantly starts dancing and smiling. <br />
<br />
Olivia is 3! I can't believe it has been 3 years since she was born. She is getting so big. Her favorite color is purple and everything has to be purple (bowls, spoons, cups, clothes, crayons, just about everything). She will tell random people in the store, "my name is Olivia and my favorite color is purple". She has almost no stranger danger! She loves to talk to anyone and everything. One time we were out to lunch with a bunch of people. The kids were all at a table and then the adults were at another table. Liv told me she didn't want to sit with her friends, she wanted to talk to the ladies. She is such a funny kid. She is also a night owl! It is so frustrating because Andrew and I are definetly not night owls. Last night we went to bed and she was still awake in her bed reading books and doing her imaginations talking to herself. That happens quiet often where she is still awake when we go to bed. This age has been teaching me more patience. One minute I can be so frustrated with her and wanting to just go drop her off somewhere and drive away, and then the next minute she has me rolling on the floor laughing. <br />
<br />
Well now I am caught up and hopefully will be a little more on top of this blog/journal thing : )Brooke and Andrewhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17980611296937508708noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7725954257204691240.post-38368277647752044762012-10-03T09:44:00.000-07:002012-10-03T09:44:52.897-07:00The Lost ShoeI had a lesson in patience while on our drive back from Washington. I was driving with my friend and her 3 kids and with my 2 kids. The drive was going pretty good and we stopped at a park in Pendleton, OR for lunch. The kids had a good time running around and getting some wiggles out. So we started packing up and I told Olivia to go and get in the car. She decided she wasn't done playing yet and ran back to the playground. I was a little frustrated because if anyone knows me, when driving I don't really like to stop, I just want to get to my destination as fast as possible. So I ran after Olivia and told her to get in the car. She started crying and freaking out because there was sand in her shoe (and I thought, well if you listened to me the first time this wouldn't have happened). I told her to deal with it and go to the car. She started freaking out more so I ripped her shoes off and told her to walk barefoot in the grass. Then she started crying more so I threw her over my shoulder and carried her to the car with her screaming the whole way. I chucked her shoes in the car, put Olivia in her carseat and she fought me the whole time I was trying to buckle her. At this point I was so done with her! I jumped in the car and drove away. When we reached Parma, ID to get gas I looked for Olivia's super cute Keen sandals...but only one was found. I looked all through the car, the other shoe was nowhere to be found. Then I remembered that at the last stop I chucked her shoes in the car not paying attention to if both of them were in the car when we left. I realized that I had been stupid and silly. It was naptime, she didn't want to get back in the car, and she had sand in her shoe. Why had I been so impatient with her. Why hadn't I just calmly picked her up, taken off her shoes, dumped out the sand, placed her shoes back on her feet, and walked with her back to the car. It would have added a minute, tops, to our drive and I would still have those adorable little shoes. So now I keep the one shoe that I have on a shelf in my house to remind me to be more patient, and it has worked. When Olivia starts throwing a fit and I start getting frustrated with her, I see the shoe and I calm down and try to see the "crisis" through her eyes and stay calm.Brooke and Andrewhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17980611296937508708noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7725954257204691240.post-18127804895226133092012-04-23T15:58:00.000-07:002012-04-23T15:58:06.264-07:00DIY Kids Puzzle<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">
I was playing with the puzzles with Olivia one day and thought to myself, "You know, these wouldn't be that hard to make." And I was right! It might be a little hard if you don't have tools, but I do : ) So if you are a little handy, here's how I did it.</div>
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">
<br /></div>
Materials needed:<br />
1/4" wood. I used a wood panel I found at Home Depot 2'x4' for about $7<br />
spray adhesive<br />
wood glue<br />
Table saw/ Jig saw/ Circular saw - any kind of saw to cut your wood panel into 2 pieces<br />
scroll saw<br />
drill<br />
sandpaper<br />
Mod Podge<br />
<br />
Step 1:<br />
Make your photo you want to use and print 2 copies (I did one black&white, why waste colored ink). I used Paint.net, it's a free program you can download. Or you can use Photoshop, or if you don't want to mess with editing, you could just use a family photo instead of making a new scene. (For me this was the longest step, finding the pictures and putting it all together)<br />
<br />
Step 2:<br />
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">
Cut your panel to size. I made an 8"x10.5" photo, and then left about a 3/4" around the edge. So cut 2 pieces that are the same size. I used a table saw, but if you don't have one you can use whatever saw you can find to cut your pieces out</div>

Step 3:<br />
Spray the spray adhesive onto the back of your picture, and stick it in the middle of one of your panels.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjUBg4bxZqIZBWXVmw6Q0emv7C1uwjGVe5A0nrfRp3ZwbDnZmnobGnRZZsHf-uXJuGq8g_oj-ol_H2a-c142CkymDashOmKM-LJn0ABaZt-QJM7ydawMMcgM-pbkQexmRutrB1P_RwVEAU/s1600/IMG_1876.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" oda="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjUBg4bxZqIZBWXVmw6Q0emv7C1uwjGVe5A0nrfRp3ZwbDnZmnobGnRZZsHf-uXJuGq8g_oj-ol_H2a-c142CkymDashOmKM-LJn0ABaZt-QJM7ydawMMcgM-pbkQexmRutrB1P_RwVEAU/s320/IMG_1876.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
Step 4:<br />
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">
Using a drill bit that is just bigger than your scroll saw blade, drill a hole next to every puzzle piece you want to cut out</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">
Step 5:</div>
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">
Run your scroll saw blade through the hole, then attach the blade again. Cut out your puzzle piece. I just free handed mine, but if you are going for specific shapes, you could trace the shape onto the picture first to give you a line to follow.</div>

<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">
<br /></div>
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">
Repeat Step 5 until all of the puzzle pieces are cut out.</div>
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">
<br /></div>
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">
Step 6: </div>
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">
Remove any paper that is peeling up, and sand all of the edges</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj1LqdpRKM6FXiFrlJ3HBWbm3kQx7jEPY22uW6COImOwM0OWabyECeAuu7JvKtwmGMJCzcdN2_zuUkWY3XibG2BXC1r2zlX9WWHdR3ERnKsIEyLU07RvQtGgaRnjS8Qlzk-tWgYnNmYib4/s1600/IMG_1884.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" oda="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj1LqdpRKM6FXiFrlJ3HBWbm3kQx7jEPY22uW6COImOwM0OWabyECeAuu7JvKtwmGMJCzcdN2_zuUkWY3XibG2BXC1r2zlX9WWHdR3ERnKsIEyLU07RvQtGgaRnjS8Qlzk-tWgYnNmYib4/s320/IMG_1884.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">
<br /></div>
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">
Step 7: </div>
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">
Here is where I will change what I did for the next puzzle. With this puzzle, I taped my final photo to the front, flipped it over and using my exacto knife, I cut the paper pieces out, so they could be glued onto the puzzle pieces. Then I used Mod Podge and to glue the paper to the wood and covered the paper with mod podge to seal the paper on. But that got the paper a little wet and created air bubbles that ended up making a crease in the paper. So what I would do differently is stick a little painters tape around the edge of the wood panel, spray more spray adhesive onto the wood panel, then stick my photo on, then cut the piece out. I didn't have any problems with using the Mod Podge to glue the smaller pieces onto the wood, just with the main puzzle part. So do it whatever way you feel more comfortable doing it, I think either way would work.</div>
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi6Sqoc_STVDXrgw8CttGJ2n_1SbaZyKkZ0iXY1udfXYjsvv9nwSXxAkZSzRLV3cYzPcx0zVUD7tn0nMTYyuAqF_l2TGyz8eS5wUcJAGf4uFBV7At_QnmQvgV-W8dNOk3kz7dbbZgT6m6w/s1600/IMG_1887.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" oda="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi6Sqoc_STVDXrgw8CttGJ2n_1SbaZyKkZ0iXY1udfXYjsvv9nwSXxAkZSzRLV3cYzPcx0zVUD7tn0nMTYyuAqF_l2TGyz8eS5wUcJAGf4uFBV7At_QnmQvgV-W8dNOk3kz7dbbZgT6m6w/s320/IMG_1887.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
Step 8:<br />
Once everything is all Mod Podged together, get your second piece of paneling. Using wood glue, glue the 2 pieces together and set something heavy on top of the puzzle. Make sure your heavy thing covers the whole puzzle or else you might have a gap inbetween the 2 pieces. Let the glue dry.<br />
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhZp4WsJjG8p87W7L7Clt9ro5lKPJe2wsQyTG3uWmrTYGgFjBFZ7xcmdZXlsJMmzYKOwHEvfpQuYvWAJL9tvcQUUI70g-NHPcdauHc3UaC6H6A3o5Q5_Z-eA6NSDlXx9Usld04ZjlyZXM0/s1600/IMG_1889.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" oda="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhZp4WsJjG8p87W7L7Clt9ro5lKPJe2wsQyTG3uWmrTYGgFjBFZ7xcmdZXlsJMmzYKOwHEvfpQuYvWAJL9tvcQUUI70g-NHPcdauHc3UaC6H6A3o5Q5_Z-eA6NSDlXx9Usld04ZjlyZXM0/s320/IMG_1889.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">
Step 9: </div>
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">
Sand down the edges and round the corners (don't want any accidents with pointy corners). I used my orbital sander for this, makes it go a little faster : )</div>
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">
<br /></div>
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">
Step 10: </div>
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">
Decorate the edges- you can leave it just wood if you want. If you do paint the wood, make sure you seal the paint with either more Mod Podge, or some clear spraypaint for sealing crafts.</div>
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">
Step 11: </div>
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">
Play with the puzzle with your kids! My daughter has had so much fun playing with her aunts, grandparents, friends, and cousins : )</div>

But when we were in Seattle for Christmas we found out he had cataracts. We first thought it was only in one eye, but found out later that he had congenital cataracts in both eyes. We were able to get an appointment at Primary Children's Hospital on Jan. 9th and the doctor told us he needed surgery ASAP because the brain would eventually give up and shut down that part of the brain. His first surgery was on the right eye on the 11th and then the left eye was done on the 20th. Both surgeries went really well. The doctor said that the second one was much more difficult and it took longer, but he said he got it and it turned out perfectly. When we took his patch off after his first surgery we immediately noticed a difference in his eyes. His eyes stopped bouncing and whipping back and forth. In between the surgeries we went into another doctor and had Mason fitted for hard contacts. He HATES his contacts! We will have to slowly get him used to those, and during that time he has a pair of glasses to wear. We were able to get a loaner pair until his real glasses come in. He looks pretty silly in his coke bottle glasses haha. We are just so grateful for the advances in medicine so that our little man can go through life with sight. We are so grateful for everyone keeping him and us in their prayers.<br /><br /><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5699926779781160418" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiivOWmqMgxqhqnO1am_osE5QTlMFg0HcuB_WoxXc7kxYj6HB5xMmHRmp8mw4DyKjPB-diOYcfQI7nuFVtkCCMZ22uBactqLO_n52r6VFNY9v4mJv_8sxoU_-Dc93ZoGmr3VxEqc-vWPtE/s320/IMG_1560.JPG" /><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5699926784781336162" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg1Jjtq1bQ5ylmDAP2MVhXD3CNy__2FazLW2HhNLdXiwAvJhcFj9_vMTTdQJcicrUvn6ZT7C0qFAWIjHg4xsonjo4v5mptUwOc2Q4EznJIKLT3SEPz9Qz1Puyc6M5Hii8SUm7XFY-4AqTQ/s320/IMG_1561.JPG" /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiIC1dssmq5scBo0YUHJSIyWX9vJ7labLdnf-V-ZZdjc6U4QMTTspN0B6iO8eq6vjI4TZku_Nf49K1eAsnSBHo5-fFFf_5VcI38yzG3Q9yy8H9B50JjLdzg0jGSgo3rLO9ky0fFX3ryNj0/s1600/IMG950939.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 238px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5699927376423236226" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiIC1dssmq5scBo0YUHJSIyWX9vJ7labLdnf-V-ZZdjc6U4QMTTspN0B6iO8eq6vjI4TZku_Nf49K1eAsnSBHo5-fFFf_5VcI38yzG3Q9yy8H9B50JjLdzg0jGSgo3rLO9ky0fFX3ryNj0/s320/IMG950939.jpg" /></a><br /><br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiUIe1093E6X3npAMdwns-6klOk10TAlZhcUQiW-wGB0HDB-GK1OfCoyu4tBqYFD-IP9C1s1vFe0Ou5nIW27R-s340Iq8qZRV69sonhMs0wWpZzXryRzLIJRpskze6r4ZNjhP_wsrX8Nrc/s1600/IMG_1568.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5699926796695077218" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiUIe1093E6X3npAMdwns-6klOk10TAlZhcUQiW-wGB0HDB-GK1OfCoyu4tBqYFD-IP9C1s1vFe0Ou5nIW27R-s340Iq8qZRV69sonhMs0wWpZzXryRzLIJRpskze6r4ZNjhP_wsrX8Nrc/s320/IMG_1568.JPG" /></a></div>Brooke and Andrewhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17980611296937508708noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7725954257204691240.post-90774985797161542202011-12-11T09:37:00.001-08:002011-12-11T10:16:40.671-08:00Question when will Brooke update the blog next?I don't really know how this whole blogging thing works-- but I figured that since Mason was born 2 months ago there has been a steady decline in blogs.<br /><br />Oh and just to let you know Mr. Blog page thingy, don't feel too bad. At least you are not the chickens which have also been forgotten about. Kinda makes you concerned that if another kid is ever born Olivia might too get forgotten. It is a Halloween Party with a bunch of booths set up for kids to play games. Olivia DID NOT want to wear her costume. I even practiced a couple of times before trying to get her to wear her costume and she hated it! She would just pull at it and say "OUCH!" So anyway, I got her dressed and told her we were going to see her friends and she needed to wear it so we could go. We arrived at the fairgrounds and once she saw her friends, Capt. America and Scooby Doo, were dressed up and that all the other kids around were wearing funny outfits, then she liked being an elephant. It was like something clicked and her thought process was "Oh I'm not the only dork dressed up in weird clothes".<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVOwCAPuPz6JLbyhaTL3pi40ktDMiZqjuoR6ZKtbFL67IvoL7RhFBzvPA4W0adKGa1we7KkwpFbBW4xSMosXVqaxBdDJoDjQ7fmSmpGhzK45kcgrR4g-5mT1WqT414ttWK-V7nFb1wJ_w/s1600/IMG_1046.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5666850166444048674" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVOwCAPuPz6JLbyhaTL3pi40ktDMiZqjuoR6ZKtbFL67IvoL7RhFBzvPA4W0adKGa1we7KkwpFbBW4xSMosXVqaxBdDJoDjQ7fmSmpGhzK45kcgrR4g-5mT1WqT414ttWK-V7nFb1wJ_w/s400/IMG_1046.JPG" /></a> Olivia the Elephant with Scooby Doo and Capt. Our garage is coming along. The garage door is in, but due to technical difficulties we are waiting for more hinges in the mail so that the garage door can be functional. We started putting up siding yesterday and worked until about noon, then decided it was too darn hot to be working outside in the sun. But we are hoping to have all the siding done by labor day weekend so we can paint the house. After the house is painted we just have a little bit more landscaping to do in the backyard and around the garage and our house will be finished! Well at least it won't look so <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_0" class="blsp-spelling-error">junky</span>, I don't think our house will ever be finished : ) But I am really excited to have our house painted, and hopefully the color we picked out will look better than the awful blue it is right now.<br /><br />As for other summer happenings, my brother Jordan was married in the Salt Lake Temple June 17<span id="SPELLING_ERROR_1" class="blsp-spelling-error">th</span>. Olivia had fun playing with all of her relatives on the temple grounds while we waited for the newlyweds to come out the doors for pictures. <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjZXHZB9pUoXxbh-zK10-YF-Xb4xWxgL0_zOotowfk7hBdLfUdNtNqyl0G-BRxJTrGXBcCnTvbZO0L68-ZZPfLdrtkEjhqW5VKURCyqqnivYsTxJHZCqntNb-UEEY_PzFG19Z1-yYxaIxA/s1600/IMG_0432.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 300px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5635659068076236642" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjZXHZB9pUoXxbh-zK10-YF-Xb4xWxgL0_zOotowfk7hBdLfUdNtNqyl0G-BRxJTrGXBcCnTvbZO0L68-ZZPfLdrtkEjhqW5VKURCyqqnivYsTxJHZCqntNb-UEEY_PzFG19Z1-yYxaIxA/s400/IMG_0432.JPG" /></a> We stayed in <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_2" class="blsp-spelling-error">Winnemucca</span> for 4<span id="SPELLING_ERROR_3" class="blsp-spelling-error">th</span> of July this year. I am to cheap to pay for a 4<span id="SPELLING_ERROR_4" class="blsp-spelling-error">th</span> shirt for Olivia, so I made her one out of a cut off <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_5" class="blsp-spelling-error">onesie</span> and sharpies. It looked pretty good until she started drooling, drinking, and eating. We had our friends over for a BBQ and then watched the fireworks. I was pretty impressed with the fireworks, I was expecting a really lame show, but <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_6" class="blsp-spelling-error">Winnemucca</span> came through. Liv <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_7" class="blsp-spelling-corrected">kept</span> saying "Wow!" It was a fun day.<br /><br /><br /><div><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 300px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5635659058415977442" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgfrnfLhcuY8sL_ZRmmBmF9iOSCxOepznZGWHAyznvoG8Rf1ku0P-_diJNtQVhmA2UIdW13ymSBkfeM4GGsOp1FwCwXdhe4SQQH_hiab_SUFox4Rdjwj8ryaWsdQtE6xIr0XjlXC6A403Y/s400/IMG_0655.JPG" />Olivia had her friends over for a <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_8" class="blsp-spelling-error">fingerpainting</span> party. The three didn't really care to much about the <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_9" class="blsp-spelling-error">fingerpainting</span>, but they had fun playing in the backyard together, especially when the hose got turned on to wash them and all of the toys.<br /><br /><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 300px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5635659058866519938" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiMAin8FDFAyJCILOfYTsb6wp0sDFic8yq6GZ2FgZ_vMZTfTSMUBktevMULp85Fy2ClrWaEFzS3Kh7u3nH-buxlRGM0_ZrKWu9qXCTJZrjChFKF7aOiZdDH4tZ5fBQzVzpMMOw8bPC0I9Y/s400/IMG_0696.JPG" />I was able to go up to <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_10" class="blsp-spelling-error">Rexburg</span> for my 2<span id="SPELLING_ERROR_11" class="blsp-spelling-error">nd</span> cousins wedding. It was so much fun to go back there. <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_12" class="blsp-spelling-error">Alot</span> has changed! <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_13" class="blsp-spelling-error">Alot</span> of my family was there so it was fun to spend a weekend with them and to be in <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_14" class="blsp-spelling-error">Rexburg</span>. I went into the Geology department and Olivia liked looking at the rocks and the fish that they have in the museum. I guess it runs in the family. </div><br /><div></div><br /><div><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5635659059233019218" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiYO7siU3EqB_ZSyMpKQSm8n5XqY-LQo_VyXa1Xwm8IWMfzPqb7PW41jJ_XRlmhzVj9ZJJoYAlXZxwTydTq_7YZCPIV5yzJnm0sCeNiGgska2gSabUch1gE-yj-wOeOpcMDSryH57k_OQ8/s400/IMG_0667.JPG" />The biggest bummer of our summer was the Jenkins moving to Texas. Olivia and Elena were like sisters (they even shared the same birthday). I think Olivia thought that <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_15" class="blsp-spelling-error">Chayla</span> was her second mother because when I went to Girls Camp for a week she stayed at the Jenkins house. Andrew would pick her up at night for a couple of hours, but because he gets up at 4:30am to go to work, Olivia spent the night at the Jenkins house too. When I came home I thought Olivia would be <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_16" class="blsp-spelling-error">sooo</span> excited to see me and would have missed me. But no...she was more excited to see her van and wanted to play in it instead of giving me a hug. I was a little hurt, but I was glad that she wasn't sad while I was gone. The girls had <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_17" class="blsp-spelling-error">alot</span> of fun together even though they were constantly fighting. Olivia has asked for Elena just about every day this week, which makes me miss <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_18" class="blsp-spelling-error">Chayla</span>, so it has been a rough week : ) We will miss them very much! <img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5635659066149988802" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg9m6oyU9Gg-jnbrlplLou6T2EMmPtvvALYEZPb1HfLXiAjT0Mkh_ThCTJdQeLTvCyI6gPAmuL8fkvZfR3f0IAu7kZ1TWwYq1OACOyYcf9ZBIyYlfgFi-jJdEOD2lilhOhZ_HIIdOEV61A/s400/IMG_0737.JPG" /></div>Brooke and Andrewhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17980611296937508708noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7725954257204691240.post-31631234599677521962011-06-08T07:04:00.000-07:002011-06-08T07:51:05.166-07:00Utah TripThis weekend we went to Utah for our niece's baby blessing. Andrew's sister Jessica came out for a visit, and it was so much fun to see her. We gave Teresa a break and took the kids to the Hogal Zoo. Olivia liked it alot more than the last time she went, although alot of the animals still scared her. They have a life size T-Rex that moves and roars and she just about had a heartattack. Her whole body would tense up and she would scream everytime it would roar. No biggie, she can go and play and leave me be. After not seeing her for about half an hour, I thought I'd better go and check on her. I walked down the hall and noticed her door was closed. I opened the door and found this. She must have been really tired or bored. I'm really starting to get the pregnant belly instead of the I just look like I've gained weight belly. Seeing our niece Amelia who is 2 months reminded me of how small they are. And I am not looking forward to my jealous Olivia meeting her new brother. I held Amelia for a couple of minutes this weekend and Olivia freaked! I'm sure if she could talk she would have said, "Hey! I'm the baby!" So we will see how it goes in October. </p>Brooke and Andrewhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17980611296937508708noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7725954257204691240.post-399163561351679762011-04-28T17:07:00.000-07:002011-04-28T17:24:12.761-07:00A Day at the ParkIt was a warm sunny day so we decided to go to the park with our friends. I can't believe how big my little girl is getting. She walked around the park by herself, climbed up the stairs by herself, went down slides by herself...she is getting too big! We had alot of fun though. There was a nice Lasse dog that Olivia kept pointing at and saying "Da-eee"<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZmhRSDmIblWjtOiOMt7LOjd61z5wD29kInIClRso7K9cixs-V063ipHSuAJimAgQxSKZoN7erGhENTu3gMXmZzp6qPuJuqD75tdFUmmnKyDMZNUG9nqjHDUCb-cTNB8vc7C2CkE7XE_o/s1600/IMG_0115.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5600793499634385634" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZmhRSDmIblWjtOiOMt7LOjd61z5wD29kInIClRso7K9cixs-V063ipHSuAJimAgQxSKZoN7erGhENTu3gMXmZzp6qPuJuqD75tdFUmmnKyDMZNUG9nqjHDUCb-cTNB8vc7C2CkE7XE_o/s400/IMG_0115.JPG" /></a><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEifVcFVDWkb9Ke1kKyat9VvgbjIeeqrcMBJ8IiabxU2VrXYQDz8IWMVRALQ1PuVQlAEOacdKrKEAPrZPVq-jaJe_51ued4ICHD5dM8CTQtumaFAK5I8n9jvNT0hhqpsnX0O62Kx1deVPng/s1600/IMG_0101.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5600793494825132802" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEifVcFVDWkb9Ke1kKyat9VvgbjIeeqrcMBJ8IiabxU2VrXYQDz8IWMVRALQ1PuVQlAEOacdKrKEAPrZPVq-jaJe_51ued4ICHD5dM8CTQtumaFAK5I8n9jvNT0hhqpsnX0O62Kx1deVPng/s400/IMG_0101.JPG" /></a><br /><br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgMsZrNpNHayaT8jLRE13P3GYIzigA2n43uwftB6W2zkeABtlJ-i7s-kC4CeQyNF1-r54OPPSMdVZf1SR2ytSaAdYn6nV7ICyNpjmrcanddt8b_LMx4uT_-G-0mu5eOfXiiL6-n00KIfBw/s1600/IMG_0097.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5600793493032061570" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgMsZrNpNHayaT8jLRE13P3GYIzigA2n43uwftB6W2zkeABtlJ-i7s-kC4CeQyNF1-r54OPPSMdVZf1SR2ytSaAdYn6nV7ICyNpjmrcanddt8b_LMx4uT_-G-0mu5eOfXiiL6-n00KIfBw/s400/IMG_0097.JPG" /></a><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEglVkcfZXzS-r0fB2j_PMllm5l5dzFs0EJojksGhNy3yUrtxiqfX_1vKK994RdDzbCeOggHY39FL6NgepBZEhLEKH_7OHuUCA_vPPVWULTcmnnYLWYKfqXYzso7rTdvEl3Cn4ePbwDDwCE/s1600/IMG_0124.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5600792099764343346" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEglVkcfZXzS-r0fB2j_PMllm5l5dzFs0EJojksGhNy3yUrtxiqfX_1vKK994RdDzbCeOggHY39FL6NgepBZEhLEKH_7OHuUCA_vPPVWULTcmnnYLWYKfqXYzso7rTdvEl3Cn4ePbwDDwCE/s400/IMG_0124.JPG" /></a><br /><br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiJ0EqYzVZjPqztOqQq75z3Dwinp2DAMW5qjWTypXgC3_h7ysWc_LgpDjuYxVVcL_8uIK37Je_y7G9R4CCt_bsrnPsAsqXXx3UBMbF2CdVh5gBF4_ex16SIhqrKvVaOK9tInimPwBnORcE/s1600/IMG_0110.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 300px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5600792095099692690" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiJ0EqYzVZjPqztOqQq75z3Dwinp2DAMW5qjWTypXgC3_h7ysWc_LgpDjuYxVVcL_8uIK37Je_y7G9R4CCt_bsrnPsAsqXXx3UBMbF2CdVh5gBF4_ex16SIhqrKvVaOK9tInimPwBnORcE/s400/IMG_0110.JPG" /></a><br /><br /><div><br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiIpktHfvr1jtjS8CD8nAYuTIXUEFL9jHyZmXXkBRIFZc5blEVmPiwVzPmYuV9Fiuu4_Ho6faMw1Mey4sX34WM2sEsUsz4iKzi7umKkCaeHR49FAnYqBB9hNKrRixAjBU-qeyByttJNX4U/s1600/IMG_0094.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 300px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5600792085764846978" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiIpktHfvr1jtjS8CD8nAYuTIXUEFL9jHyZmXXkBRIFZc5blEVmPiwVzPmYuV9Fiuu4_Ho6faMw1Mey4sX34WM2sEsUsz4iKzi7umKkCaeHR49FAnYqBB9hNKrRixAjBU-qeyByttJNX4U/s400/IMG_0094.JPG" /></a><br /><br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhWVetTEY3CIS_uz-8ZuGR3QfJIH1pwwIfJmZXMYI0TULGIFS6nKBMr4Wfh43zxvw5WdxwGamLc2bxbT7pIEB_TEV4F8uK4-d5GfmNPND5vfuitQK9l785V5CexkKHjo4oNd6ftP1aU3vo/s1600/IMG_0093.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5600792077004277426" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhWVetTEY3CIS_uz-8ZuGR3QfJIH1pwwIfJmZXMYI0TULGIFS6nKBMr4Wfh43zxvw5WdxwGamLc2bxbT7pIEB_TEV4F8uK4-d5GfmNPND5vfuitQK9l785V5CexkKHjo4oNd6ftP1aU3vo/s400/IMG_0093.JPG" /></a> </div></div></div></div></div>Brooke and Andrewhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17980611296937508708noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7725954257204691240.post-67840073536295851732011-03-22T07:28:00.001-07:002011-03-22T08:48:23.519-07:00It's Been A WhileHere is a little update since I haven't blogged since Olivia's Birthday. Liv is getting really big and is starting to say a few things (well she says ALOT, just not in English). She says "Uh-Oh" when something falls or she throws something she's not supposed to. She will repeat "Thank You" if you say it to her (most of the time). We are working on what does a ducky say and what does a bear say, and she gets it about 25% of the time. I can't believe how big she is getting and how independent she is. When it's time to go I will tell her to get her shoes and she tries to put them on herself. Once shoes and coats are on, she grabs the diaper bag and starts grunting and dragging the bag to the door. The other day I walked into the bathroom and she had found a small set of fingernail clippers (they were closed) and she was putting them on her toes like she was clipping her nails. She is also facinated her with belly button and isn't afraid to show it to anyone. In February we made a trip up to Washington with our friends the Jenkins. We had a blast. We went skiing and snowboarding twice, went to downtown Seattle, the girls went to a free Gymboree class that they LOVED, we went swimming, and had alot of fun just visiting with the fam. Here are some of my favorite moments from this year:<br />1. Seeing you for the first time<br />2. Your first real smile<br />3. Your blessing day<br />4. The first time you slept through the night without your Lamby Swing<br />5. When we were watching a sad movie and it looked like you were crying, so we laughed and said you were crying and you instantly made a noise that sounded exactly like "No I'm Not!"<br />6. Your first steps with Aunt Jessica in Minnesota<br />7. The first time I was away from you for a while and you were excited to see me, the same way you are always excited to see your dad when he gets home (I was always jealous of your dad for that)<br />8. Rockin’ out to Reggae Got Soul<br />9. All the times you snuggled with me<br />10. All the times you laughed with me<br /><br /><br /></div><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5556210139809911154" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEidYkSioyYYzCExloEUMJFxpIe63UhQqxwkWGC75Kym5fM5v3WPvSljxMp9O3ZrnaIWeFSItc3638qC71gXIhq9KVvfkf1b0FzpNqCYlnFmUmhhYXQdstVLzQpcET15wfNrupgPvVJbSRM/s400/1229091710.jpg" /><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5556210138505669474" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhhrCaqMdTDhABYcDfHyxrgrY7FHvhBZH1_2DTHplDudmi6ssPSebFL-JWipQ5y6Pap8Wkr2Qlr0eaQzJqpCNXXp4_IlMZPYKYvPp0xneq9cTfcTIm0Y_J4mfRfcs5tAG9EWGYcYpHD5Xw/s400/IMG_3815.JPG" /><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 300px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5556210129383522018" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEino6ARHTxyCpZyzY0AJU0fDLy8JM-PtB_d6FaYghG5EYjFtxBro0ZJOoKhsd7J0KeqIIeJpfoBrRoaOnH7vXUpMCoaaN0nDx__h9qZlMaG290-j0idq_hFECPxK6M3MhSpLgdeCOm3qqs/s400/IMG_4452.JPG" /><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 300px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5556210116432920898" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhN_kmXOGZ7-zib9tLf6gh5nJg3krvme4mIqMkojxVkcSQaE6xBvdh-oD5IRiO9c6PoQmgpsCQAcyyCzDhQzEDf5KeHK4dC5dMnK5jYz-NbXTmydwoEVlfg5OKVgLtUX6mbrz115nKlx8c/s400/IMG_4305.JPG" /><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5556211583099996290" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhszy639YVLmjzi6JQeqdSV5Uahxyy5v-5nOjJP-qZGPjDmZ8CkHWAiQF6P7nnDZzxUCSsA3oi-m8itIuxxJYFF2Dr_la9B_zfsPAZ7Aj_1SUxNbsmtlKZqBxGOdlBei7vcRsVdeqBUmHA/s400/IMG_0662.JPG" /><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5556211590633416706" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh4DhlqD9eBRq61kDFzniKFfEUBuHVsac8ksGw3gW_9d_PJXenaDfilW6Osthkgsm48kytXnu4fKc2fkHYK3K7gTM2fenz_nts6RBkkC0OkJqNn2amGLV1E9AaZqZj9xWssP98C637Yj2k/s400/IMG_1033.JPG" /><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 300px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5556211599991638450" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi2QNW-7zvl5GmFRh5TkwKi62XKC2qYQ7hn1J98meYpUbxOpAJ5IzVyxdGQOv9wZeWSzUelgI6-NHg_bmfvqX_FMaFT2jmf4vyYFB3kd8jpyL20tkzEzxAgOt2gbB1RlrIcweCA1-gxZjw/s400/IMG_2025.JPG" /><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5556211592976511010" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi4a3phavd47FDUPgobo15olLbGPC6o1m09ggpdCGb9MYlgP4bo-8Seu_vgOcn2O5vcvMlbqOnytzewDhobyDJ8fS1_zscIzwrEZRbyHw83URmjfVMi20VOq-XsIovleSK2-SlGDBEwuxE/s400/IMG_0119.JPG" /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhkVb8E_A-cVrk9-rkShUJnBMUA77LDnSdfkBWCcEywHyxmSANj-jQRjx_feeHzydlq__VfhRI_3WbzUz7OZlpmcHicB1BYY20gVHYXsBoL827piNbFuJ4zk67bGXfcOBtEKB4-IKOVJMg/s1600/IMG_0222.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5556211598043133746" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhkVb8E_A-cVrk9-rkShUJnBMUA77LDnSdfkBWCcEywHyxmSANj-jQRjx_feeHzydlq__VfhRI_3WbzUz7OZlpmcHicB1BYY20gVHYXsBoL827piNbFuJ4zk67bGXfcOBtEKB4-IKOVJMg/s400/IMG_0222.JPG" /> <p align="center"></a>Happy Birthday Olivia! When a present for Andrews birthday came, it was a rectangular box, so I propped it up and it was Olivia's tunnel. When Andrew and I paid off our cars we celebrated by buying a Bar-B-Que Grill, and that box was huge. So I had an idea. I cut a square out and hooked Olivia's tunnel up to it. Then I cut out a couple of windows and Olivia had a new home...but it was still under construction. The local carpet company had those free carpet samples that they use in preschools, so we carpeted her floor. Then Andrew made a real roof so She would stop hitting her head on one of the flaps that hung down. And since it is the Christmas season, she of course had to decorate. She loves it in there. She will drag toys in and push other ones out to make room. She is alot like her dad and that house is her "garage time", where she can be alone but knows that mom is right there.</div><br /><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5552875546409816594" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjkngowE0_VtwzmjLReYGz4LTsusv3lV5ALaN8WOc78-f0JeK2Cw6hFuTOgaW7lZlJaJ0bdBgOHuhm5V5E15iOE8zG_LLaVK8pO88shIGMpASKz3lSNoPLOFKFZpxXQdo1Nx7jCsVecxgw/s400/IMG_0175.JPG" /><br /><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEji8QS5JACWJ0GthEgXDjg15KyoeCBSExpCGbXu80py1L5kNUkWFCMZSaqEnHJ1A3KwNA1azI_TyUXntTAn27vkUhSy2z1DA7zOvrfJAS3MZ_b3O77-Af0L65ssyc9NHEUzCPma8KQe7m0/s1600/IMG_0143.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5552875550151381074" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEji8QS5JACWJ0GthEgXDjg15KyoeCBSExpCGbXu80py1L5kNUkWFCMZSaqEnHJ1A3KwNA1azI_TyUXntTAn27vkUhSy2z1DA7zOvrfJAS3MZ_b3O77-Af0L65ssyc9NHEUzCPma8KQe7m0/s400/IMG_0143.JPG" /></a><br /><div> <div></div></div>Brooke and Andrewhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17980611296937508708noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7725954257204691240.post-54638895434542508542010-11-08T20:10:00.000-08:002010-11-21T17:33:45.372-08:00Fall's over, but it was fun.First leaves (next year we expect this should be a picture of Olivia's first raking the entire yard all by herself)<br /><div></div><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiIv5UvMrOm6p-ONtcYNG0qiIirPNzMBDRFDyONj4foobPRcWKMjXZ60IoLQi2HwGU2NoAQZrra3T4BErxAQILJZTzM6cgNERZwTklvCZq2sdhTpnobMvtQYz1n26zqj7sXfgUraIKlrT8/s1600/IMG_1941.JPG"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 400px; FLOAT: left; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5537409297257356994" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiIv5UvMrOm6p-ONtcYNG0qiIirPNzMBDRFDyONj4foobPRcWKMjXZ60IoLQi2HwGU2NoAQZrra3T4BErxAQILJZTzM6cgNERZwTklvCZq2sdhTpnobMvtQYz1n26zqj7sXfgUraIKlrT8/s400/IMG_1941.JPG" /></a></div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div>Fort Snelling, Minnesota<br /><br /></div><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh1c7K7n1NTBr8sCah3mc-6nHfVWI6L0cZ_pFasa2l7VObov7rG15MB3nJTtebiRFMgEk3QDl28B4CzPv_O1i6CaDPbmv1Iszabzw3TLGGMx9JbJgFn1pivekT9MbY9A1zmt1c0eIbctSg/s1600/IMG_1843.JPG"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 300px; FLOAT: left; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5537409286405937394" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh1c7K7n1NTBr8sCah3mc-6nHfVWI6L0cZ_pFasa2l7VObov7rG15MB3nJTtebiRFMgEk3QDl28B4CzPv_O1i6CaDPbmv1Iszabzw3TLGGMx9JbJgFn1pivekT9MbY9A1zmt1c0eIbctSg/s400/IMG_1843.JPG" /></a></div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div>Grandpa's House and secret hiding places.<br /><br /></div><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiE4rU-1T5w3WlbnXIB4vIiwiKqj6Mq4ocmixpAz4ckNHpEC_HpQqw9sn3l5B-yfrCzc31sbhROGWgB0f0o6cwhTK0L6EYP0OUczPk8pt5VHGXkwR-HkvrraJ5Q-rpJV1rG8Jgt2YSwdAQ/s1600/IMG_1810.JPG"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 400px; FLOAT: left; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5537409276971402898" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiE4rU-1T5w3WlbnXIB4vIiwiKqj6Mq4ocmixpAz4ckNHpEC_HpQqw9sn3l5B-yfrCzc31sbhROGWgB0f0o6cwhTK0L6EYP0OUczPk8pt5VHGXkwR-HkvrraJ5Q-rpJV1rG8Jgt2YSwdAQ/s400/IMG_1810.JPG" /></a></div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div>Apple Orchard. It has stopped being in the 90's this week and has been raining off and on. Our chickens don't really like the rain. Mosher's "hair" cracked me up because it looked like a girl who spent alot of time on her hair and then went out in the rain haha. Poor Mosher. Our chickens have finally started being useful though. For about a month we only had one chicken laying an egg a day. But now I think 4 out of the 7 are laying because yesterday I found 4 eggs and today I found 3.<br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjMkH859w8jhDGqgb-7LBgMBoDUSwBzVk38KJTDq5xp-qHpVB8w-2nrInvj_2Ofa9C0pA4MYT82b4sALzQVSlEuwSeUgcXQZOv7aFln27a-NbFg08xOwK0-MTYX9W8645NimtVqQII72T4/s1600/IMG_1539.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5524666302255811890" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjMkH859w8jhDGqgb-7LBgMBoDUSwBzVk38KJTDq5xp-qHpVB8w-2nrInvj_2Ofa9C0pA4MYT82b4sALzQVSlEuwSeUgcXQZOv7aFln27a-NbFg08xOwK0-MTYX9W8645NimtVqQII72T4/s400/IMG_1539.JPG" /></a> Olivia never fails to make us laugh. We go to the dump at least every other week, I guess that's what happens when you are pretty much flipping a house. We always find all sorts of treasures up there. I just used our Scott's spreader to Weed and Feed my yard this weekend. My chickens use a barrel we found there as their <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_1" class="blsp-spelling-error">waterer</span>. Our friends sat on our bench in the backyard today that we got at the dump. The list goes on and on. But we found the all time best dump find the other day...OUR DUMP COUCH! So we went to the dump as usual and when we got there we saw this couch that was upside down. So we unloaded our load and flipped the couch over, and it looked pretty good. We started looking for the cushions and found all but one. We decided to just leave and forget about it. So on our way back to town we saw the cushion on the side of the road! So we pulled into a construction site that was close by and pulled some debris out of their dumpster and loaded up our truck for our second load. We hurried back to the dump because it was almost closing time. Andrew told the lady that we lost part of our load (which wasn't a lie because a cardboard box fell out while driving back to the dump). As I unloaded the back of the truck, Andrew hurried and put the couch in the bed of the truck and we took off. We stopped on our way back to town and picked up the last cushion. We felt like such rednecks! We got the couch home and I pulled out the carpet cleaner and used the <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_2" class="blsp-spelling-corrected">upholstery</span> attachment and cleaned that baby up and look at it now! Just like new!<br /><br /><br /><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5516244339530994258" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiP8jgLv_VeMaXlsvBrR6vdYQB3uP03TcKO5TANA-a2gbrQP2JgcROf9kro8rF-vxdD5mvSJb9ndVk5RoVUBFHmacNA0SZNxddTlOfn0G-lGpdqWVdWZSLdZY47J6-Z0BH671bcLOvP6Nc/s400/IMG_1282.JPG" /><br />It doesn't have any legs, so we need to either make some, buy some, or find some at the dump <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_3" class="blsp-spelling-error">haha</span>! But it's super comfy! I took a nap on it today and let me tell ya, that was a pretty nice nap. Once our under construction family room is finished we are going to put it back there. Some people think we are ridiculous...but hey, I got a free couch and I am helping to save the earth! I have put up before and after pics of the inside in earlier posts, but after tons of shoveling, bringing in load after load of gravel, putting in a sprinkler system, seeding and waiting for grass, putting up a new fence, ripping out a chunk of the old driveway and pouring new concrete, and lots of plants here is the outcome (still needs more work, but thats ok).</div><br /><br /><br /><br /><div>AFTER<br /></div><br /><div><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 414px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 297px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5496081080956100130" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiy3NisRzC8n0TWBJO6odgGx6MC50VOWcQVw-b723SDwhOQ8acLYKiSs0Gio0LbV4ZNSZSuXltkD-YEBCPSCKjRL9tBLx-iFEfjHso96YcSsRR075jBwzpv0Gsbfkwf_-vjfDTg6Gwc2Ek/s400/IMG_0993.JPG" /></div></div><br /><br /><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg8QXFWR6fdkikUe6rag1X2NA_ZGNZAYLzX24qjDUrdKNiMpmnIfTYtTwal65C8omzdaPG71VYJbQ6bHF7LsYQF2gSgTNdkadyPk2virTGApXNc4vyP0itavj1k4uZsoGcph3f7iTUT4d0/s1600/IMG_0994.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5496083293881338962" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg8QXFWR6fdkikUe6rag1X2NA_ZGNZAYLzX24qjDUrdKNiMpmnIfTYtTwal65C8omzdaPG71VYJbQ6bHF7LsYQF2gSgTNdkadyPk2virTGApXNc4vyP0itavj1k4uZsoGcph3f7iTUT4d0/s400/IMG_0994.JPG" /></a> another before<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhKqY1IrmZKPIlzu7XdjlXYTdvR3Vasq26gUK4BrsIjJ_jMrbLW5KbfDUSFqlk9sHEofTzIG8YtBZBxpJOgxT0V_R7Odm4-Y3MyPlg4EN25jYHnU2IxtERHRkC7oFcGHQ3b6hYM9AUB4Os/s1600/GoogleEarth_Image2.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 336px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5496084985350431426" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhKqY1IrmZKPIlzu7XdjlXYTdvR3Vasq26gUK4BrsIjJ_jMrbLW5KbfDUSFqlk9sHEofTzIG8YtBZBxpJOgxT0V_R7Odm4-Y3MyPlg4EN25jYHnU2IxtERHRkC7oFcGHQ3b6hYM9AUB4Os/s400/GoogleEarth_Image2.jpg" /></a><br />and after<br /><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEic6snvyrk65QK9pdD4uzrQkpnrmwjIpGyr-fSXuiOQ_UGWhlCRC4ZnEMKkFfzZ_rSf4gofxbhBgtNa9PlggJJ__f513fY1xcDpyokbAcV3w7BZnuZn8XuYzXA852fo0R65XS6gC7Fhuys/s1600/IMG_0995.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5496083277336846146" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEic6snvyrk65QK9pdD4uzrQkpnrmwjIpGyr-fSXuiOQ_UGWhlCRC4ZnEMKkFfzZ_rSf4gofxbhBgtNa9PlggJJ__f513fY1xcDpyokbAcV3w7BZnuZn8XuYzXA852fo0R65XS6gC7Fhuys/s400/IMG_0995.JPG" /></a><br /><br />There is still alot of work to be done, but it's getting there : )Brooke and Andrewhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17980611296937508708noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7725954257204691240.post-88833317683237342982010-07-16T07:36:00.000-07:002010-07-16T07:48:23.694-07:00FugitiveSo last night as Andrew and I were just laying down to go to bed a familiar noise came through the baby monitor. Olivia woke up. So I went in to put the plug back in when I heard voices outside her window and then someone running by the of my house. I peeked through the curtains and saw some teenagers in a car pull up. I was thinking, oh no you are not going to vandalize my house! No eggs, no TP, no nothing. So I started for my front door and I saw the person run right by my front window and when I opened the door he turned around and darted back the way he came. Then I heard police sirens and thought, oh great! It's always my house! I started looking around and Andrew came out with his mag light. We were looking around for a little while and when I went to put my shoes on Andrew flashed the culprit. He jumped up as quick as a puma and threw his hands in the air and said "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, we are playing fugitive, its a game!" The poor kid looked terrified. We started laughing and told him that we love that game and used to run through peoples yards too. We told him that the baby woke up and that's why we came out. As we were talking to the kid a car drove up and that was the end of his running, he was caught because of us. He was hidden so well that we didn't see him and he was right next to us, laying on some gravel. He was good! He didn't shift the whole time we were out there and I don't think we would have ever known he was there if Andrew hadn't moved the flashlight there. When Andrew and I climbed back in bed we were laughing and then said how sad it is that if you see teenagers out in your yard you automatically think they are up to no good and not that they are just playing a harmless game of fugitive.Brooke and Andrewhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17980611296937508708noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7725954257204691240.post-88823764218007646012010-06-24T16:25:00.000-07:002010-07-14T14:29:58.992-07:00San Francisco<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEipQni883CcKNgux2uJX44n2EMfccKQ4UGx8xJEoyjPp2mJVojx4WlrgQqEUdlZUx4E1JMiCQk9zznFMosXaO1nENc6lC0W2upJOiS1iS4f7wQp5MyeS2nXkfAVcf3eCSjKWFMF4uyAy0A/s1600/IMG_0394.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 300px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5486489843607997762" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEipQni883CcKNgux2uJX44n2EMfccKQ4UGx8xJEoyjPp2mJVojx4WlrgQqEUdlZUx4E1JMiCQk9zznFMosXaO1nENc6lC0W2upJOiS1iS4f7wQp5MyeS2nXkfAVcf3eCSjKWFMF4uyAy0A/s400/IMG_0394.JPG" /></a><br />About 3 weeks ago Andrew and I went to San Francisco for a long weekend. Since Andrew has Mondays off he got to choose when he wanted to take off his Memorial Day Holiday, so he took it on Friday and we had a 4 day weekend in San Fran. It was sooo fun (and much needed). We have been working a ton on the house (mostly the yard) and needed a break. On our way we stopped at the Jelly Belly Factory and did the tour and got some free jellybeans…mmm. Olivia did great on the car ride to CA, I was impressed. We stayed at a really nice Marriott that my Uncle Steve hooked us up with. We went to Fisherman’s Wharf, Ghirardelli Square, Chinatown, you know all the touristy things and we loved it. We got some pretty cute pictures of Olivia sitting on a ledge. It looked like I had just perched her on a wall with a 100 foot cliff behind it. Some people walked by and were scared to death until Andrew popped up from a ledge that you couldn’t see. On Sunday we crossed the Golden Gate Bridge and went to see the redwoods at Muir Woods National Park. It was gorgeous there! It was so awesome! I wished that I was a better photographer because I just couldn’t capture the beauty with my camera. On Monday we packed up and headed out. We took a detour and stopped by the Oakland Temple for a bit and then started the journey home. Olivia slept for quite a bit of it, but when we were about 1 hour out of Reno she started getting pretty fussy, so I thought I would just feed her some peas that we had and it worked great until she started getting full and I became super carsick! It was horrible! Screaming baby, headache, feeling like I was going to vomit…awesome right? Well Andrew thought so because the next exit happened to be Cabelas exit (I think Andrew planned it). Once I felt better we got back on the road and the little monster screamed the last 2 ½ hours. But it was a blast other than the heinous ride home : )<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgWWzNfC1kwOo5mPDsIJrKg4tQ8iWX1KkIsToBS7MOO-RY8y37Y79rnVxFVq1z4IFqwAYZGAp3fQ51vwBpUfehIKhBXbsIPE5aV3rgAcgz-Q8OZFIwDtvKM24cwybnqmxL_jpnJaX3PY-Q/s1600/IMG_0271.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; My tulips are out (even though they were ravaged by a fierce wind storm) and the leaves on the trees are popping out. I decided to get some chicks this year and see if I like having chickens as pets. I am crossing my fingers that we didn't get any roosters. We had John over, our 2 year old friend, and I asked him what the chickens names were. All light chickens were just chickens but the black one was Mosher(Moe-sure). I don't know why, but he loves that one. Olivia doesn't really care about the chickens. We took the little chicks outside yesterday and they had alot of fun. At first Andrew just brought one chicken out and put him in the yard, he was terrified. I decided I would bring his friends out to play so I grabbed their box and walked outside. When the lone chick heard his friends he came running to me so he could be with his friends. It was pretty easy to watch them because they always stayed together and never ventured out on their own.
